Visiting the Pumpkin Patch

Last night, Ben, Sarah, the girls and I all went to Linder Farms Pumpkin Patch. For some reason Lindsey assumed there would be a merry-go-round there, so the whole drive over she kept saying she was going on a "merry-go-ride with the horses". Lucky for us, there so happened to be horses and she even got to ride one! They had a great petting zoo that included a zebra, ostriches, and even a camel (my favorite wild animal). After Lindsey got to ride on a pony and pet the animals, we caught a ride on the wagon through the rest of the farm. Courtney was in heaven, enjoying the fresh air. She actually stayed happy until we put her in the car to come home. Lindsey got to run through the kiddie corn maze and go on the train-ride twice (giant water jugs cut in half, strung together, and pulled by a lawn tractor). Lindsey picked out her own pumpkin to take home at the end--it's a pretty small one so I doubt it'll be getting carved. To end the night, we treated ourselves to some mini dounuts and hotdogs. Fun Fun!!

"Yeehaw" "Go horsie!" "Ride-em Cowboy!"

My first time petting a camel!

I can't say I've ever been so close to a zebra either!

The perfect pumpkin for Lindsey!

Very cute pictures and it looks like a lot of fun! I'm sure there are places like that around here, just without the camel and zebra. We have Emu's down the road and goats...hmmmm. I love the picture of Lindsey with her cute hat too!
