Two nights ago, I attempted putting curlers in Lindsey's hair for the first time. I remember loving how my hair would look after sleeping in them when I was younger, so I thought it would be cute on Lindsey. She was willing to sit there while I put them in, and didn't seem bothered by the idea of sleeping in them either. When she crawled into bed, she was a little unsure of how to lay her head on her pillow, but after a couple seconds of evaluating it, she found a position and went right to sleep. The next morning, this is what she looked like.... The picture made me laugh because I caught her in the middle of a blink; but I think it probably describes the kind of sleep she was able to get that night. If I could caption the picture, it would say: "Seriously Mom? You made me sleep in those uncomfortable pieces of plastic for this??" I can't say I was too impressed with the overall outcome either. We ended up with about 2 or 3 decent looking curls, and that's about it. Oh well...maybe we'll try again in another year or two. Thanks for humoring me Lindsey!

Very cute Lindsey! I too remember sleeping in those puppies, never a comfortable experience, but I loved the curly hair! I am shocked, Katelyn would have ripped them out as soon as they went in, good job Linds!
That is so funny! Kyra and Megan look to same...I think their hair is too fine. She looks like she has eye make-up on too...it makes it that much funnier!
Oh, that is funny! :) Sometime I should show you the picture I took of Sammy with all her hair up in curlers. It does get better, don't give up... maybe try smaller curlers. Good luck!
That's Hilarious! I HATED those things as a kid- and I always came out looking like little orphan Annie. Way to keep the torture going to the next generation! :D
I love the pics! I remember going to bed all the time with tons of night time rollers in my hair. Cant believe she kept them in all night. those things take time getting use to.

You might try the kind that have a little pillow inside and wrap around the hair. We use those, and them seem to be a little more comfortable for Brenna. She still doesn't love it, but doesn't complain. They fit around small amounts of hair a little better, too. Even with her shorter hair, I've been able to use them.
Wow, I remember going to bed with those as well. With sponge curlers you never know what you're going to get in the end. Too funny.
