Going Private!
After recently seeing one of my friends change their blog to being "private access only", Ben and I have given a lot of thought to doing the same thing with ours. I do get frustrated though when I come across a friend's blog that's set to private, and don't have any way to contact them to have an invite sent to me. That's the only reason I have left ours on open access. We did, however, weigh out the importance of convenience versus the safety of our family, and it's probably obvious of what issue won. Is it likely that anything bad will happen? No, probably not, but as Ben & I decided, we'd rather be safe than sorry. I will follow my friend's idea by not instantly going private, but rather giving everyone who wants to be invited a month to comment back with their email address. Or just email me at duckins28@yahoo.com and let me know that way. On or around March 5th, I will send you an email inviting you to view my blog. If you don't accept it, you won't be able to. I know this will probably be able to set some Grandma's out there at ease too! ;)

I think that's a great idea I am doing the same with our blog. There are too many wierdo's out there and its just not worth it. I was trying to figure out how to get everyone's e-mail. Great idea about posting it on the blog. Duh... why didn't I think of that?
