On Friday, January 21st, our little Courtney celebrated her 3rd birthday. We can't believe how big she's grown in what seems like no time at all. She's full of spunk (some things never change) and sweetness.
The morning of Courtney's birthday, she wanted to start it out with PopTarts. I've never bought PopTarts before, but while in the grocery store, she asked if she could have them for her birthday. She knows how to work it! So right before Dad took off for work, we all had a PopTart. I don't think they were her favorite though because she's never asked for another since.
For lunch she requested pizza. It may have come from the freezer section, but it was what she wanted and that's all that mattered.
She's gotten to go to Olive Garden a few times recently and has found she has a love for their spaghetti...so of course that was what she wanted for dinner. My sister and her family were visiting town, so they went out to dinner with us to celebrate. We all came back to the house to enjoy cake and present opening.
Courtney didn't specify any characters for her cake--just that it be chocolate cupcakes. So that's what we had.
She loved all the wonderful presents she got.
Here is the layout of all Courtney's wonderful gifts. It looks like she's holding up two fingers, but if you look hard, you can see the third one struggling to stay up. We'll continue to work on that.
The girls look forward to being measured on their birthday's to see how much they've grown over the course of the year. Much to our disbelief, she really is growing!
After playing a dance game on the Wii with all the cousins, Mom, Dad and Aunt Pamela, it was time to brush teeth and get to bed.
Courtney can hardly wait for her next birthday. She had a blast and was so glad to have a few more people to celebrate it with.

We were happy to celebrate with her! We'll have to get together again soon!
Happy Birthday to Courtney Girl! I too can't believe that she is 3, wow! And man alive that girl got a ton of gifts, she is sure loved! I hope she had a great birthday!
Looks like a lot of birthday fun! Hannah's birthday is quickly approaching as well and I have NO clue how we are going to celebrate! The only things she says is that she wants cake for dinner and puzzles for her presents. Pretty easy! Our kids are growing up WAY too fast!
